As I was walking out of the bathroom today, I was looking around. One of the shower curtains was open so that I could see part of the shower bench (don't worry, I was at no risk of invading someone's privacy). Sitting on that very bench was something shiny! And then I realized, it was no ordinary shiny; it was a cell phone. I know now why people leave them at home when they go on vacation: because, rather than being a safety, security, convienance device, they are the pieces of metal (mostly plastic, I know) that chain you to everyone who knows you. Even in the (public!!) shower. Ack! Ack!
Ha ha ha! I just got a new cell phone. I love it, but it is also my only phone. I bow have headphones too so that I can safely talk and drive. The headphone is pink! I suppose I am just reinforcing your statements. . .
I feel so invaded when I am in the public bathroom and there is someone on their cell phone in the stall next to me. I have privacy issues that surround the bathroom anyway, but to think that all that goes on there is being broadcast to across town, across the country, possibly the world is way too much for me to contemplate.
ack, ack!
I HATE CELLPHONES!
