Nice Job, Miami!

"Well, just go back out the front door and keep walking left around the side of the building. Once you turn past the benches, you'll notice some stairs going down. Take them. It'll be right there on your left. Have a nice day."

Besides having the entrance located in the back of the Judicial Affairs building, do please notice that it is in the basement.

I went to an interview in a knee-length skirt with hairy legs today. I'm going to be an advocate for victimized women. With hairy legs. (I'm refering to myself, by the way.)

Nice Job, Miami!

As I was walking out of the bathroom today, I was looking around. One of the shower curtains was open so that I could see part of the shower bench (don't worry, I was at no risk of invading someone's privacy). Sitting on that very bench was something shiny! And then I realized, it was no ordinary shiny; it was a cell phone. I know now why people leave them at home when they go on vacation: because, rather than being a safety, security, convienance device, they are the pieces of metal (mostly plastic, I know) that chain you to everyone who knows you. Even in the (public!!) shower. Ack! Ack!

Seriously

Last night, Mendon, Ben and I were picked up by the MU police.

Determination

I wrote an entry earlier this week. And Mendon got online to play StinkoMan (yes, seriously) and the good boy he was, he opened a new tab to play. But the bad noy he was, he closed my entire window when he was done. *Gone!* I was a little peeved at the computer for a few days and couldn't bring myself back to the blog, especially with all of the WORK that I've had with school.

But there's good news.

School is great. My less-loved classes are easy, (Biopsych is still in question, but I think it's one of my more-loved. The prof is really funny) my loved-classes are absolutely managable, and my lessons with Harvey, my new teacher, are going smoothly. He's excited for my marriage and giving me a break for it. (As in, I understand if you don't perform well on your jury.. you'll have be a newly wed for a whopping 3 weeks!). I have so much to learn, learn, learn. And I'm writing. For homework. (This is perfect).

So, yes, more later, but I've dinner, a run to Wells to pick up my chldren's books, and then class for 3 hours.

Brag!

I just ran for an entire HOUR with Mendon and Ben. No stopping (well, we did stop, obviously, after an hour). Lots of hills. Decent clip. I cannot believe myself. *happy*
