What would you do?

Ok, tonight. At 11 pm. Now, it's starting at 11:45 pm. This hits me as unreasonable. So, when the man hosting the rehearsal is the same one that got you to India, what would you do?

Kristen, you got a Fullbright to go to India, didn't you?

If you went on a Fullbright, YOU got you to India.

And especially if you don't want to encourage this behavior, I think you should not go and you should inform him as to why.

Are there any extenuating circumstances? Is the practice room unavailable until then? (Seems unlikely.) Does anyone else mind the late hour?
You've come and gone to India. Do you still owe a debt to Srini? Even if you felt you did, to what extent do you 'owe' this 'debt'? At what price/cost to you?
