We got our tickets for Scotland - yay! I'm very excited about vacation, clean air and cool temperatures.
We leave Saturday and will be there for two weeks. What are we planning to do, you ask? Nothing. Glorious Nothing.
[well, okay, we do hope to see Liam for a wee bit, but then, Liam's pretty good at doing Nothing himself]
OOOOH SURRRE! Go to Scotland and don't tell me! Uhhuh! What, another vacation!? Oh, hi guys! Glad yore off to a cooler clime for a recess.
Well, maybe I'll get there one day! I think an Israeli/Scottish accent would serve you well, don't you think. Especially when speaking French in the courtyards of the world.
Trans-Planted the remainder of my 'Letters of the Living' Eggplants yesterday.
They seem so happy to be with their elders in the garden of delights. Mmmmm,
the peas are great today. Bursting with yesterdays rain! oooh, my toes are getting early morning wet..... weeded the zuccini's as well. My good ole boy and good ole girl tomaters are flowering now. And our lillies are blooming all over the yard in oranges, yellows and soon deep reds( I think). The asian dogwoods are still in bloom and have been creamy blooms this year instead of their usual greens. I guess they are finally mature. They stay in bloom for over a month. AMAZING. They were the backdrop for our outdoor feast the other day. So nice! ciao for now!
And just who is Liam? Should I know?
Hmm, I think Liam was around when you came for a visit, but I'm not sure you met him. Unfortunately, he left just before Mendon & Kristen arrived. He is one of those young men I tend to adopt as 'Mendon-stand-ins' when Mendon and I are separated by long distances for long times. (he's also the one who, heheheh, upon finding out my age replied "but you're so cool!")
Papa, thank you for the LOVELY description of the garden!!! I love the early morning wet toes. . .sigh. I am such a temperate climate girl!!!
Next time give me a heads up that you're going to Scotland. I will try to go at the same time.
Oh, man, Rae, sorry! It wasn't planned too far in advance, but I did think of you . . . then I thought, 'nah, she won't be able to go'. Silly me and that darned nay-saying voice I've got in my head!!!
*sigh*

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
