Hmm...I think it actually flowed a bit better as 1/12/05 ... even if I didn't notice the date!

Okay, so the concesus is that I should leave poetry to Daddy? I asked him about it and he said, "I never did get Haiku."

I'm not sure how you got the conclusion that the consesus is that the poem wasn't any good. THis haiku clearly follows the rule of including somethign to indicate the season, it also conveys emotion. I'm just saying either way you write the date works.

Okay, so I'm paranoid -- especially about poetry. I'm sorry for being whiny and pathetic. I have no confidence about poetry and much bad experience with it. Maybe I'll write a haiku about that.
