We're Moved!

Moved! Moved! Moved!

We're finally back in a space all our own, and boy-howdy does it feel good!

Don't get me wrong, there were very real perks to living with others (free/cheap rent, sharing chores, company, etc...), but it is so nice to bring out our artwork again, and choose our own furniture, and let Liam roam into whatever room he wishes because it's all (fairly) childproof (or will be).

Not to mention the fact that we can walk to just about everything. Everything! Okay, Mark has to bike to work, but groceries, pharmacy, hairdresser, bank, dry cleaners, chiropractor, library, coffeehouse, gelateria, pizzeria, post office, park, pool, second-hand kids ship, second-hand furniture shop, ... yeah, see what I mean?

Feels good.

Today we were introduced to some folks in town from Kenya. It was a nice little slice of what it was like to live at the World Centre.

Oh, and Liam? Has taken to mimicking just about every sound he hears. For example, when Mark carries him, as Mark takes steps Liam says, "boom! boom! boom!" Hahahaha!

I was telling a story about how he got up the stairs and I listened to him running across the kitchen floor, pitter patter, pitter patter, and then running back to the stairs. Next thing I know, Liam is saying, "pitter patter, pitter patter" (sounding a lot like, "batter, batter, batter" in baseball).

Hopefully before too long I'll get around to photos of our little slice of half-a-house.

aaahhh to be close to things! Wow ... what a joy it must be! ;) I swear to you, my friend, that I developed quite the Rhode Island opinion of being let's say not-travel-friendly during my 12 years as a RI resident. How spoiled I became. lol. seriously. Bad! But you knew that last time we spoke, right?
I am VERY happy for the three of you ... there's nothing quite like having your own space! Hope you're all doing well in the new digs, and hug that boy for me!!! :) Much love from John and me ... and Grace! (doesn't that just sound wonderful??? side note: Grace got her first piece of mail today. Addressed to her. It was a bill. Seriously.) ;)

I saw a job posted on wahm.com for a French/English translator. Just something I wanted to point out to you. Go to the button/link telecommuting/work at home on the left of the screen. The position was posted on the 6th. Just a though. You're decent with French, oui? ;)

I have my own space and will share it with you any time. I think space is fine when filled with the right things don't you?
I imagine Grace got her bill from 'uncle sam' right? Something like "HI there, we ran up a 53 trillion debt for you before you were born and here's what you owe us for this great gift." Just a wee bit o' sarcasm no? oui!

Hi, my name is Debbi and I have no idea if this note will be able to reach you and your siblings. We do not know each other. I "met" your mother last year when I was inspired by her story as part of the documentary done by Ted Koppel on the Discovery Channel. Your mother's strength was evident even though I only saw her briefly on television. My mother was battling cancer at the time. We were in Southern California stuck on the campus of a major cancer center where she was receiving radiation treatments and watch part of the program together. My mother also commented on how strong your mother seemed to be. Because events were unfolding so rapidly last year, I was unable to keep up with Leroy's blog and only in the last few months caught back up with him. I was saddened to learn of his death on Friday and suddenly got to thinking of your mother. In doing some research on the NPR site, I saw that she passed away in January. Please accept my condolences and if you do receive this, please share with your family.

I was not ready for my mom to leave me and it happened so very suddenly. In reading briefly of your mother's journey, I only wish my mother - if she had to share the same path - was able to do it as your mother did. It is very difficult to not have your mom and be raising your own young family. I have two young children of my own...I talk to my mom every day. I try to feel her with me or imagine her as my guardian angel. But it hasn't been long enough and I am still too numb.

My prayers for strength and healing to your family.

Debbi

There are some good points made here. On the whole, I’m not no end keen on blogging. However, every so often we all have to pay attention.

Numerous this kind of pharmacies are, in some methods, equivalent to local community pharmacies; the main distinction is the method by which the medicines are requested and received.

Men and women living in the United States and other countries exactly where doctor prescribed drugs are quite pricey may possibly turn to on the internet pharmacies to save money.
