(or PFK if you're from Quebec - pronounced "pay - ef - kah")

Why does my office suddenly smell like Kentucky Fried Chicken?

Stream of consciousness ... last night, we were looking for curtains about 80 cm long and the lady told us that she "had kinder but no chicken". Fortunately it took us long enough to figure out what she was trying to say so that we didn't giggle about it until we'd left the store.

[translation: she had curtains for children's bedrooms, but none for the kitchen]

Which leads me to:

If we do end up staying for another year we are going to finally start studying Hebrew, that way we'll have stories about stupid stuff we say.

And that's the end of my thought process for the mo'.

maybe it smelled garlicky or whatever just now because i was huffing and puffing with lessan about work (in a good way) and i've just eaten dill-and-garlic israeli cream cheese on corn thins.

i had only fruit for lunch.

is this a reasonable explanation?

Hahaha! Good guess, but, umm, Kentucky Fried Chicken isn't so much garlicky as it is deep fried (oh, the things you'll discover on your visit to the States!) :-)

I have a feeling someone microwaved something particularly fragrant & carbohydrate-y.

Hipaa, hippa hooray!

My tea kettle is howling!
Mara, I'm so glad that you don't care about memetics. On your last post, my whole post was an attempt to give memetics its fair due as an idea but was an attempt to point out the degree to which it has little or no value. Pappa probably cares less about memetics because he's entirely disinterested.

And I still haven't figured out what an ethereal addict is.

It's the guy's term for anyone who is religious, or, I think (I really didn't read too much of his site), anyone who believes in a hereafter. He seemed sort of focused on death, and different religions' perspectives on it.

Thanks for sharing the information with us.

This is safe toy since little kids will unlikely encounter a choking accident. Besides, its adorable and the price is not expensive. In addition, it does not preach violence unlike some of the toys that we see in the market today. rocky the robot trucks last blog ..Rocky the Robot Truck
