No Dead Fish

This is a public notice that Mr. Ryan did a fabulous job of flatsitting and I highly recommend his services. There were no dead fish - or anything else - as a result of his time in our flat. We came home to a very clean apartment - cleaner than we left it - and Ryan had clearly remembered when we were arriving home, as he was scarce. I imagine he'll never forget again, after all the jabbing he got from us and the Ishikawas.

So, we're home. We're exhausted. We'll share more later.

I didn't know you have fish for pets. What type? Have you named them? I sat for a few hours trying to tell them all apart as I was determined to tell them apart and name them all. I couldn't so I named them all Wesley(yes, this is a clone high reference).

Sorry, Rae. No fish. Let me explain: Ryan has flatsat for both us and the Ishikawas previously - he's even gone so far as to write up a flatsitting resume. The problem? Well, there's a skip in his pristine record: the Ishikawas came home to one less fish one time. This was all related on their blogs previously - I was referencing that.

By the way, everyone MUST check out the Ishikawa link!!! Amelia and Shingo have been recounting the pleasures and woes of Pesakh (hard 'k', if you say it and it doesn't sound like you have a hairball, you're not saying it correctly, it means Passover). And it is a) hilarious and b) dead on correct!!! So, if you want to experience a bit of life in Israel, go check out their blog. I recommend starting at the bottom and reading up in order!

What am I doing? I have finals out the ears and I'm about as worried about them as Christ was of the cross! Not good.

I love the Ishikawa site, by the way, it's hilarious. It'd be funnier if I wasn't sick.

Hey, twit, take care of yourself during finals.

The Ishikawas will still be there after finals :)

See - I'll make such a good mother some day.

Mara, I missed you. Our blogs missed you. Welcome back!a
And you will make a good mother someday -- You sound just like me! (lol)

Welcome back Mara and Mark. I knew you were gone and said you wouldn't be updating but I still checked everyday. So I'm glad you're here. Looking forward to hearing about your trip.
Love,
S
