This is what Violetta looks like. It's out of focus [yes, one of my photo class pics], but it's her. Not me :-)

Yes, I can tell it is Violetta, not you. From this angle you look very different. But! in the other picture I had to look twice. And I do know how you feel. Remember the story of Popop coming back from Colorado (visiting Uncle Claude and Aunt Margaret) and telling me how much their next door neighbor looked like me? I was sort of miffed, now that I remember.
Nice photos. I think I am a bit jealous. But not overly, because I am rejoicing in your success.
Hey, Sis!
Okay, okay - she looks nothing like you! Well, except in the photos of Masada, where, honestly, she looks a lot like you.
As a side note, you say this photo isn't focused, but it is - you've focused on her hair and forehead closest to you, and it looks fine. It looks intentional, as if you wanted to soften her appearance a bit. And the lighting is superb.
I'm just trying to figure out how someone who posts to their blog so often has time to sit and pose for a camera, let alone see movies or buy kaleidescopes and keep them in her handbag.
Well, ... we sort of never stop moving here... it's the accepted pace of life here, I think, which, occasionally becomes too much for us and we do things like decide to not touch our blogs for 2 weeks :-)
And thank you, Maman, but you are still the amazing photographer in this family!!
Is that me? I look calm and happy. Hey....Mara! That's when I was watching the Venice movie! Madame Maman, I'm so happy you're such a big fan too...I would classify Fojas Venice as one of the best movies I've seen this past month. Seriously. And Nathan...the blog is N-O-T-H-I-N-G. I don't blog that much either. You're making me sound like a freak.
