Who's who!!!!!!
This year is the thirty-eighth year of the honors awards at Lakeland Community College. On Friday May 5th,2006 at 7 p.m. The 2006 OUTSTANDING RESPIRATORY AWARD will be given out by Program Director,
Catherine J. Kenny,RRT to someone you all know as papaD. Yep......as Irkel would say "did I do that?"
I guess so! Well, how 'bout them apples!!!!! I am amazed. I can tell Maman is fairly proud of this. She asked me if I was gonna blog it. I told her I hadn't even thought about it. Well, it is said. Last day of class this year and I will get an award. Yeah, yeah, I can hear you all now......what's that you just said?

I spoke with maman about your up and coming licensure exam. I think that this is a fabulous way to finish up at Lakeland. It's amazing that you've been able to achieve this with a wedding and maman's cancer all thrown in to the mix. I'm really proud of you, papa! Congratulations.

That's fantastic. I'm proud, too. I've been crowing to everyone at work that my Papa is a respiratory therapist. And they're like: "Oh?" and I'm like: "Yeah. But a month ago he was a student. He went back to college to get a new degree and change career." And they're like: "What was he before?" and I'm like: "A roofer. And he's fifty-six."
And they stare open mouthed. I know they're jealous.
