Grass must be mown not shorn...
Here in the early dawnsomeness of Sunday we stand by the kitchen window viewing our springtime backyard...a slight sigh escapes us both and she turns to me and says you should never fertilize the lawn so....it needs mowing now....I think to myself 'it is going to be a cheerful afternoon with sunshine and warmth among the heather wherever Casey is at bat'...
I might go over to the river and try fishing then, or play golf , which I've not done for oh, fifteen years. Of course, there is homework and chapters to study for my Weds. exam in pharmacology....
Man this coffee is really tasty this morning and my shower was soooo warmingly refreshing! Perhaps I will hire a sheep to shear my yard. In which case it may be said to have been shorn, not mown. Tho' mown grass is far more fragrant than shorn and I do like mowning my grasses more than shorning them. I shore am mowning a bunch about shorning this morning and it's shown. P'raps I'll mown some this afternoon when I've read my recent assignment in Fundamentals of airway management. I imagine us standing at our kitchen window doing supper dishes and saying, 'the lawn newly shorn looks pretty good after it's been so nicely mown doesn't it?! And I'll think to myself..'yeah it always does on Sundays early in the morning."
But, one thing is certain...this coffee is really tasty this morning
and another thing...the lawn still isn't mown or shorn this morn. And I do agree, I should not have done such a good job of fertilizing my yard...it now must be mown. moan....sigh
