Newest News

1. Way to go, Rae! Congratulations! I am thinking of things I can send you, that you will hate and wonder what on earth I was thinking you would do with them when I bought them. I am so happy and proud of you! Good job. (Pun intended!)(If you don't know what I am talking about, click here.)
2. Grampa is moving into the Brecksville VA today. This is a good thing. He can stay there as long as, meaning his stay is not limited to one month, which is what we thought was the terms of Brecksville. Gramma can visit easily and frequently. We can take him out for family visits and events as desired. This is a very good thing. Grampa will recieve the medical care and attention that is more than Gramma can manage and Gramma will get a rest. She has been running ragged for the last two years or more.

Stuff & Clutter

We went to Rae's graduation this last weekend. Had a good time.
Nathan hasn't been around (on the blogs or Skype) because his computer was stolen. Polite thief. Even nodded to Nae on the way out the door. But this is his story; let him tell it. And if this isn't so, then let him deny it. (Nae, we miss you!)

I'm back

Again. We installed skype, but someone loaned me their headset. I returned it and bought a new one and had to get that up and working. It is. So if you want to skype us, you now can. Again.

Now if only I could get my scanner, C drive and D drive and maybe even my Palm to work, I might have a fully funtional computer. Oh, and the printer. . . it is really funky. It prints a page or two then reams of aski. Oh, well, it does email and internet.

I've Been Slimed!

I just deleted 106 blog comments from the likes of Texas Holdum and Baby Names or Bracelets, or whatever. Doesn't matter, but they are gone. I feel so disappointed when I see that there is an update and then I don't see anything. But all better now.

Sorry for not posting. I have been thinking of things to post, but usually when I am in the car, and these thought evaporate once I sit in front of a computer screen. I know I should be using my draft option, but then there is the struggle. There is no cure for that, I suppose. (You know, what to write, how to write it, will anyone want to read it, should I write it,etc.)

I have to comment on the weather. As much as I complained about the Clevelend (neverending) winter this year, and the slow spring, I have to now report that the weather has been quite delightful the last few weeks. The trees have been spectacular in their full-bloom. I can't descirbe it in words. And the scent when you first walk out of doors, the sum-warmed perfume of the delicate flowers. Last night was the spring storm that blew all the petals off and heralds the hot weather coming soon. I think I will swap my summer and winter clothes this weekend so I have what I need to make the trip to DC. I usually put it off for longer than I should because I am a procrasinator, then find myself wearing my three lighest-weight woolens into weather that is way too hot for them.
