I Miss Clipper
As I mentioned, I haven't had hot tea for a while. Mark made some cinnamon buns this morning, and so I made some tea to go along with it. And then I looked down at my mug and thought, "why is this tea black?!"
Back in Scotland, Nathan had a big box of Clipper brand tea. It made these lovely golden brown cups of tea with no trace of bitterness after 5 whole seconds of exposure to water. Sigh. I miss Clipper.

Clipper is my favorite tea. It's not just because that's what I'm used to, but because I tried an enormous number of teas before settling on this one.
Barry's Gold Blend isn't bad, either, but Clipper is better.

Is clipper black tea - are you avoiding caffeine? I really like some fancy british tea I can't remember the name of...best English Breakfast I ever had. I threw out the box but I'd recognize it. I tried to order it online but they don't seem to deliver to the US

Rae, it is best to avoid caffeine, yes. However, one cup of tea does not put the baby in danger, and that's all the caffeine I would get in a day. No coffee, no chocolate, etc. If you've been to Nathan's, you probably woke up each morning to Clipper. It's just simply awesome!
