Miracles Can Happen

I know; I've seen it happen a time or two.

In other news, Mark has posted the photos of our Galilee camping trip! Click either here or on the sidebar for his Fojalicious fotos!

Looks like a fun time was had by all. Especially Leila. How amazing to be camping on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. (sp?)

I am glad to see you were safe, even with Steven cooking over an open fire. Those were eggs?
In order to fold a tent to fit the bag you start by folding it lengthwise to slightly narrower than the bag is high. Then just role it up real tight. HaHaHa! It's so easy!? Oh sure!
Was the fast flowing water part of a cistern system or for agribusiness, or just a stream by-pass system thru the park you stayed in? Where did you get firewood? drinking/cooking water? I wish I had been there. You all looked like you had a great time? How did the World Center get along without so many of you? It is so rich to live outdoors and hear all the sounds of the night. Yes, even if they keep you awake. After a nite or two you are usually so tired you just sleep anyway. Yeah! Nice.......even better if it rins overnite to lull you to sleep with the pitterpat on the roof of the tent.

The questions!

I'm not sure about the water - but I'm pretty sure it's part of the Jordan River since we stayed at the "Jordan River Park".
Firewood - the woods! They were right behind us. Shaun was the fire-man, he got the wood, tended the fires, etc.
Water - we brought it with us.
World Centre - it was the weekend :-)
Night sounds - the river served as excellent white noise. There was a camp of 50 youth on the other side of the river and we barely heard a peep due to the river! Yay!

i certainly enjoyed myself, but i think that layla enjoyed herself even MORE!

love from leila
