Secret's Out

Okay, I figure all the essentials know (i.e. our parents), so it's time for my blog to get the update.

Though if you're like everyone else who heard the news, it'll be rather anti-climactic for you. I think it was bigger news to Mark and myself than anyone else.

Mark and I have extended our term of service here in Israel. As of now, we will be here until May 2007 (so you have until then to visit us). Since the big question seems to be about Mark's medical studies: he is gathering the basic A&P, biology, chem & physics books to study for the MCAT, since that's what he'd need to be doing regardless.

Also, we will be going on pilgrimage at Ridvan (the festival in which we celebrate Baha'u'llah's announcement of His claim to be the Messenger of God for this day). We are so, so, so very excited!!!

Tada.

End of blog update.

The modorais are coming for pilgrimage somewhere around now. I don't know if you know them at all but they'll be around if you want to go say hi.
Glad to hear that you're going to extend for a year, too. Does this mean that there is more exciting news along the way?

Ooooh! Pilgrimmage, I am so jealous! There is much I have to consult about in the shrines these days......and I would so much love to visit the homes of Baha'u'llah and Abdul-Baha. I could dwell for a long time in our beloved Archive buildings as well. Plus I can still explain and quantify the physics of the twin seven tiered waterfalls and lotus fountain near the base of the terraces. No, I am not jealous. I do envy you and all the other pilgrims. No, I look forward to our time in the years to come. To dream, to achieve, and to do it together. This is all I wish for with all my heart.

Mendon, I've known the Moderais for about as long as you've been alive!

Papa, you and Maman will definitely be with us in our thoughts as we journey through our pilgrimage.

Congrats to the two of you!

Well, I'll be coming to see you, then. We'll have to work out a time.
