Jesse's Wedding

Eric and I spent approximately 18 hours this weekend driving to and from Kentucky, but it was a fun time. We were there for Jesse and Monica's wedding and celebrated Ayyam-i-ha with Ma and Pa. Uncle Claude
read a blessing on behalf of all the parents and he called Jesse Jessica once (almost twice) it was pretty funny. I'm sure his tongue was just getting twisted between the two names:)

I talked to Celeste and I'm so excited that she will be going to Philadelphia for Med school. She'll be close enough to hang out with! While we were there we tried out Kentuckys' soda called Ale 81 a.k.a. "a Late one" ha ha! It was flavored gingerale, and we were happy to have it cause Eric had a stomache on the ride home:(

We are having a bunch of visitors this month. Our friend Jason is coming out and we're going to have a Clone High Marathon, then Eric's sister Lauren may come out and also my friend Cathy. Spring break is in the air!

It sure doesn't feel like half of the semester has gone by but we've had seven weeks of class. Time is flying!

Any photos?

If Rae doesn't post the pictures, I'll be happy to do it (since she sent me some) :-)

It looks and sounds like it was a blast ... sorry I missed it!

Ale 81 sounds yummy ... especially because I just started the first day of the Fast!

How cool that you'll be able to hang out with Celeste - yay!!!

Big hugs to our family!

We really did have a good time. Uncle Christophe and Aunt Barbara were supposed to come, but he got sick (bad cold) which makes traveling miserable, so they stayed home. I would have loved to have seen them. At one point in the reception Monica's uncle made a comment about the Deans being a reserved bunch. I wish that Uncle Christophe had been there because he is the only one of us who could lay that reputation to rest. (Did you know that he worked his way through Chiropractic school as dance instructor and even competed -- and won -- nationally?) Uncle Claude and I earned it the old fashion way -- we are reserved. (Poor Uncle Claude likes to dance and is rather good at it, but Aunt Margaret really doesn't. He tried to do a jitterbug with me, but it has been so long that I was suffering from 2 left feet too.) See, we really needed all of you young folk to show the Shotzbargers how to have a good time.

The food was even good!

Ma,
We didn't need to show them how to have a good time, but rather that the Dean's do know how ot have agood time!
Rae

Wow! What a purty dress you got on, Rae! ;-) It looks really good on you. I'm glad you're making use of it!
