Tonight I went to a dinner for Aaron Twaddell and his wife Zaynab. They are a lovely couple. It made me look at marriage from a new angle. I'm glad to report that I am still heels over head in love with Kristen and that I've only grown stronger in my resolve. However, it was interesting to be able to take a new perspective on the whole event. I think that, when Kristen returns next week that we will be able to actually start making legitimate announcements about our wedding. However, for the time being, the 26th of November (the day of the Covenant) will be our wedding.
On another note, sadly, I missed Kristen on Skype tonight.
Posted by Mendon at July 16, 2005 11:14 PMI am also glad to report that I am still heels over head in love with you and that I've only grown stronger in my resolve.
Tell me about your new perspective that you've gained but only written about ambiguously.
Posted by: Kristen at July 19, 2005 1:38 PMI tried to post this earlier but it killed my comment. Anyhow, I wanted to say that the perspective I gained was one about weddings and size. It doesn't have to be big (it will probably end up being modestly sized) but could be small. Oh, and, Aaron had the coolest wedding certificate.
After meeting Zaynab I think that the two of them have found an equally spiritually transcendent partner. I am certain that they will bring much light to this earth.
As for epiphanies, I don't get them much anymore. Mostly just Stephanie's smiles:)
Posted by: Mendon at July 21, 2005 9:01 PMInteresting. I always figured you two would have a modestly sized wedding. Mark and I considered having ours at Wildwood, and I was thinking that perhaps that'd be a good place for you & Kristen. :)
