Not what I had expected
Yesterday was my 24th birthday. When I was a kid and knew everything, I thought that 24 was the magic age at which people became real adults: mature, married, car-owning, home-owning(!), sex-having, beer-drinking, beautiful, REAL adults (like I said, I knew everything). In many ways, I feel like I have actually come to fill this (interesting) set of expectations, yet, of course, in others, I feel as if I still have my training wheels.
Today I forgot my public transit credit card, and when I asked about the fare, I was given the "grade school and high school student" discount.
So, maybe 24 isn't as glamorous as I'd thought.

Oh I think being 24 and getting the youngster fare on the bus is pretty KEWL....
Enjoy it while it lasts. You will always probably look younger than your age. I will miss you and Mendon at Thanksgiving. I hope you have a nice visit with your family.
